Design & Order: Step-by-Step Guide
Ordering custom packaging from Vibrallic is a straightforward process. There is nothing like you do not know. Below is a step-by-step guide to show you how we go from your initial idea to delivered finished product. Follow these six easy steps to get packaging that’s perfectly tailored to your brand:
Step 1: Choosing the Right Packaging Solution (Design, Materials & Size)
The first step is to decide on the type of packaging that best suits your product. Consider what you need: Is it a durable corrugated shipping box to protect items during transit, a stylish mailer box for a great unboxing experience, or a sleek retail box for store shelves? Vibrallic offers many packaging styles, and our team can help you choose the right one if you’re unsure. You’ll also select the appropriate size and materials at this stage. Think about your product’s dimensions and weight – you want packaging that fits well and is sturdy enough. We provide guidance on material options (for example, corrugated cardboard for heavy items, cardstock for lighter items or various kind of paper products). At the end of Step 1, you will have identified the packaging style, size, and material that meet your needs and budget.
Step 2: Design – Using Our Online Design Tool or Uploading Your Artwork
Once you know the type of packaging you need, it’s time to design it. You can use Vibrallic’s online design tool (if available on our website) to create and visualize your custom packaging. This tool lets you choose a template or dieline for your box and then add your logos, images, colors, and text directly onto the 3D model of the packaging. It’s a user-friendly way to see exactly how your box will look. If you already have a design prepared (for example, created by your graphic designer), you can upload your artwork files instead. We accept common file formats (such as PDF, AI, or high-resolution PNG/JPEG). Don’t worry if you’re not a design expert – we also provide downloadable templates that you can use as a guide, or our design team can assist in polishing your artwork. During this step, you’ll work on the visuals of your packaging until you’re happy with how everything looks. Before proceeding, you’ll get a chance to review a digital proof which includes 3d view of the design, to confirm that all artwork and placement is correct. If you want a demo physical sample, it can also be provided though it will take some extra days along with a minor cost. Sample request must be done before quote.
Step 3: Getting a Quote & Order Confirmation
After finalizing your packaging design and specifications, you will receive a price quote. If you used the online tool, the platform may generate an instant quote based on your specs. Otherwise, our team will prepare a detailed quote for you, outlining the costs (including setup, production, and shipping). Take your time to review the quote – it will also specify the estimated production time and delivery timeframe. If you have questions or need to adjust something (for example, increase quantity or change a material to meet budget), this is the moment to discuss and refine the order. Once you’re satisfied with the quote, you’ll provide final approval to proceed. We may require a formal purchase order or a signed approval of the quote. At this stage, we’ll also arrange payment terms. For new customers or smaller orders, full payment upfront is common; for larger orders, a deposit (e.g., 50%) might be required with the balance on completion. Confirming the order means you agree to the quote and terms, and we will then move the project into production. You’ll receive an order confirmation notification, which usually includes your order details and an expected timeline.
Step 4: Production and Quality Control
Once the order is confirmed, our production team gets to work. In this step, Vibrallic will print, cut, and assemble your custom packaging according to the approved design. We start by preparing any necessary development or setting up our digital printers with your artwork. Then, we print your design onto the chosen material (corrugate sheets, card stock, paper etc.). After printing, the material is cut and formed into boxes (this may involve die-cutting and then folding/gluing the boxes into shape). Throughout the production process, we have quality control checks in place. We verify print quality (ensuring colors and graphics match the proof you approved), check that dimensions and cuts are accurate, and that the finished boxes meet our standards. If your order is large, we might produce a small batch first and do a quick internal review before completing the rest – this helps catch any issues early. You can rest assured that during Step 4, we are working diligently to create your packaging exactly as designed. We’ll also keep you updated on the progress, especially if production is expected to take a couple of weeks.
Step 5: Shipping and Delivery
After your packaging has been produced and has passed all quality checks, it’s ready to get to your doorstep. We carefully pack the finished products for shipment (usually flat-packed to save space, in the case of boxes). Depending on your location and preferences, we’ll ship via a reliable courier or freight service. During the order confirmation stage, you may have chosen a shipping method (standard ground shipping, expedited shipping, or local pickup if you’re nearby). Now in Step 5, we hand over the packages to the carrier. We will send you a shipping notification with tracking information so you can monitor the delivery. Shipping within Canada typically takes a few business days (see our FAQ on shipping for more details). Our team ensures that the packing is secure so that your custom packaging arrives in perfect condition. When the order arrives, be sure to inspect it and let us know if there are any issues – but we anticipate you’ll be opening those boxes and enjoying seeing your new custom packaging ready to use!
Step 6: Customer Support and Re-ordering
